3. Choose to take a break

In this modern world we often skip lunch on work days because we ‘don’t have time to take a break’. Staying desk-bound and hungry all day actually hurts your productivity. And let’s be honest, you can afford to get away from Facebook for a while.

Stand up, stretch your body out. Take a walk – if you can get into the sun even better. EAT A HEALTHY LUNCH. It doesn’t have to be big. A handful of nuts and two pieces of fruit. Or a salad. Your body needs nourishment and energy to keep you from crashing later in the day.

4. Don’t let yourself succumb to the evening temptations

Home after a long day at work is a bad place to be for a dieter. You’re tired, grumpy about what your boss said to you earlier and all you want to do is be comfortable and relax. What’s our main source of comfort? FOOD. Suddenly your mind is buzzing with options. ‘There’s a packet of crisps in the cupboard, and i have those chocolates I was given as a gift… Oh, and there’s that bottle of chocolate vodka I bought on the weekend.’
